The braid that connects the hook is threaded through the rabbit hide, which allows you to scrunch the rabbit forward, loop the old hook off, loop on a new one and keep fishing! The lead eyes add just the right amount of sink while keeping the fly easy to cast, even on the 5 inchers. Both sizes use a #2 octopus hook.
