Tailing packs are commonly used for tails on mayflies by cutting individual barbs off the the stem and then tying a set of 3 to 6 barbs into the fly. Yet, not limited to simply putting tails on small dry flies. This is a hackle with blends of great natural mottled and badger type markings and may be used for a variety of uses such as flat wing streamers, steelhead intruders and spey flies, larger dry flies and larger soft hackles.
