Speyco 4" Skagit Reel - Red Frame with Tie-Dye Face

This reel was custom built for Waters West as part of our intro as a Speyco dealer. The red looks killer in the reel case, but we do know that at some point we will have to part with it. This is a slightly narrower spool than Speyco's Symmetry Spey reel, and is designed to have the weight needed to keep a long rod's tip out of the water. On a 13' 8wt, it balances very well with today's modern tapers. This exact model weighs in at 12.1 oz (versus the heavier brass plate option that we also carry), and is well suited to hold Skagit or Scandi heads up to 600 grains.

This reel is equipped with Speyco's Hexad Drag system; we are happy to adjust the retrieve for you prior to shipment. Please specify which retrieve you would like below, or watch the video on how to do it yourself here:
