Best for flies sz 12 - 18. These Hebert Miner wet fly hackles are sparse, supple, and undulating. When wrapped as a collar these little hackle barbs creep and crawl moving with the slightest twitch. These capes have even been labeled "still water delight". Whiting goes as far to even note that these little hackles tend to capture little bubbles, and if you know your entomology you already know emerging insects rise to the surface film using bubbles very similar to whats being described. Can also be used for upright and spent wings on dry flies.
