Airflo Skagit F.I.S.T

$59.99

Chrome chasers rejoice! The new Airflo Skagit F.I.S.T is here and ready to swing for the fences. The innovative head design was created to help people fish lower and slower.

field test team says that the new Skagit F.I.S.T (Floating, Intermediate, Sink-Three) "really digs" and has gotten people into fish they could not catch with other lines. This new line fishes deeper and slower that other lines because of its triple-density construction. The head's rear floats high for improved drift tracking, transitioning to an intermediate-density middle section and a Sink-3 tip. This unique construction allows the head to "tip down" in the water column and give from the fly to the tip of the rod. Loop on any level sink tip and you're ready for the pickiest fish in the river.

Here on the OP we have been using these lines since their introduction and have nothing but great things to say. The F.I.S.T digs but does not drag/hang too deep. We have the option of really getting down deep or we may fish these lines shallow through super snaggy rivers such as the Sol Duc river. How shallow can you go? (current speed depending) With a type 3 tip, we can fish shallow, all the way to the lip in as little as 3 ft of water. The tracking is super smooth (e.i we found this line pulls the fly with a smooth, down and dirty pull, tracking through a run or pool that really triggers strikes from lethargic fish and especially so... Kings!) And the main reason we fish these lines so much... They cast like a dream.
