These adaptable fly tying tubes are the ideal platform for tying tube flies and they come complete with their own hook support. No more nesting and gluing two different sizes of tubes. It's already done for you. Just clamp the Pro Flexineedle in your vise, slide the tube on and start tying.
There is 80 mm of tubing, 40 mm of thin tubing and 40 mm of thicker tubing. The thicker tubing is the hook support and the thinner tubing, which will accept all the Pro Tube accessories, such as the Flexiweights, Dropweights, Bulletweights, Cones, Conediscs & Soft Sonic Discs, is what the majority or all of the fly is tied on. Most of the time the majority of the thicker tubing will be cut off, leaving just enough to securely hold the hook. The thinner tubing can also be cut to any length, enabling the tier to control the length of the body. The different weights, cones and discs can be placed anywhere along the length of the smaller tubing, from the very front to the very back and anywhere in between.
