Shrimp Cocktail

When fishing for cutthroat around coastal and Puget Sound beaches, it is extremely important to stay stocked up on small crustacean type patterns. Most of our small shrimp will wander out during the night, so fishing small buggy patterns such as the Shrimp Cocktail in the early mornings and late evenings can be very effective. It also works well for pink salmon as well as feeding and staging coho salmon.

This fly is 1 1/2 inches long and unweighted on a size 6 hook.
