Forceps/Pliers

Clamps/Forceps/Pliers are used to crush barbs, removing hooks, closing shot, and the ones with scissors have a small section you can use to cut tippet. They come in a few different sizes. Shorter smaller means less crushing power, longer means more. 4-inches for smaller flies 5inches for medium 6 for big stuff. Roughly. Black oxidized or prism finished will be better for salt or cool points.
